An easy , quick recipe to cool your nerves.
Ingredients
In a blending jar
- Yogurt/ dahi : 1 cup
- Water : 3 cups
- Chopped green chilli : 1
- Chopped ginger : 1 tbsp
- Chopped coriander : 2 tbsp
- Chopped curry leaves : 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida/hing : a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Lemon juice (optional)
For tempering
- Oil : 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
- Asafoetida/hing : a pinch
- Cumin seeds : 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves : 2 leaves
Method
- Whisk the yogurt with other ingredients listed in ‘In a blender’ category .
- For tempering: Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds , asafoetida, cumin seeds and curry leaves . Cook till curry leaves splatter.
- Add temper to whisked yogurt mixture.
- Chill in refrigerator.
- Serve chilled.
