A super quick, super easy , super yum recipe with buttery deliciousness and Italian flavor combination .
Not all healthy vegetables are green, some are short and stout like mushrooms. Here is a favorite way of mine of serving adequate portion of veggies to my twin toddlers which is interesting , different and drool-some.
Mushrooms in Butter Sauce|Quick Recipe | Toddler Meal Ideas
Prep Time : 5 minutes
Cooking Time : 10-12 minutes
Yield : 2 child sized serving
12 -15 button mushrooms, cut in halves
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves of garlic , chopped
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried thyme
(Alternatively you can use dried pasta seasoning in place of above three herbs. )
Salt to taste
Melt butter in a skillet/pan . Add chopped garlic to the melted butter and cook for a minute on medium high heat.
Add thoroughly washed button mushrooms , cut in halves, to the garlic butter sauce.
Add dried herbs and salt to the pan and mix well. (Fresh herbs are even better .)
Saute mushrooms in the pan for 10-12 minutes .They should still be firm , not soft and mushy.
Mushrooms in butter sauce are ready to be devoured.
