The Lion King is such an inspiring movie.
It holds a special place in my heart because when my twins entered our house , my husband took each of them , lifted them up with his extended arms and showed them our house and said ‘This is your kingdom’ .
I know it sounds awkward but this was one of the things he had may be thought in his subconscious mind to do when his kids would arrive in his life.
Mufasa (the Dad in the movie The Lion King) is one of the legendary dad characters in Hollywood history.
One of my favourite quotes by Mufasa is
“Simba, I’m only brave when I have to be. Being brave doesn’t mean you go looking for trouble.”
This is my husband’s philosophy as well. He has never used his physique to intimidate people or invite trouble but only to save his near ones from any imminent danger.
This artwork is my tribute to the father-child relationship and I know that my babies have been blessed with the most awesome dad ever.
